Chiloé National Park is a national park of Chile, located in the western coast of Chiloé Island, in Los Lagos Region (region of the lakes). The area is critical habitiat for seabirds and marine mammals, including sea lions, marine otters and blue whales. Research has shown this area to be one of the most important blue whale feeding and nursing grounds in the southern hemisphere. For this reason, the Chiloe National Park Expansion has been declared a Hope Spot by Mission Blue.
